With the heat wave rebuilding over the Southeast after a couple "cool" days I updated the above post and came up with some more numbers ...

Columbia, SC and Augusta, GA - 14 and 15 (respectively) days 100+ this August, breaking an August record. Record for any month is 17 (July 1993)
Birmingham, AL - 13 days 100+ this August, breaks the record for any month (12 - Sept. 1925)
Montgomery, AL - 14 days 100+ this August (record for any month is 14 - Aug. 1954)
Louisville, KY - 22 straight days 90+ breaks the record of 21 (Aug. 1936) ENDED 8/21

UPDATED 8/22
