Sanba is now a Super Typhoon with sustained winds of 150 knots and a central pressure estimated at 911MB. Wind gusts are currently as high as 180 knots (205mph) but Sanba has peaked and a slow decline in intensity is forecast by JTWC.

POSITION BASED ON EYE FIXED BY SATELLITE
PRESENT WIND DISTRIBUTION:
MAX SUSTAINED WINDS - 150 KT, GUSTS 180 KT

Sanba is now expected to pass within 10 miles of Kadena AB, Okinawa, Saturday evening (15/23Z) with wind gusts as high as 140 knots (160mph).
