Fair to very good outflow in all quadrants above the low/mid-level swirl now in northeast Mexico. In the loop below, one can track the rough outline of the low/mid-level cyclonic (counter-clockwise) rotation by the forward motion of the lightning flashes, and the upper-level outflow in the gray and lighter blues aloft rotating clockwise. It does appear that this system could become a quasi-tropical low even while still inland, which - could - give it a head start should it head back out over the waters of the northwestern Gulf early this coming week.
