I have been noticing that a storm , a mid-latitude cyclone is really ramping up. It almost looks like a sub-tropical storm, convection is starting to occur and the cold tops seem to be cooling, also it's very organized having banding features and a crude-form of an eye. Needless to say, Europe and Spain are in for a rough ride. You can see it at the very east end of this satellite imagery.

Nasy looking cyclone. Also to note the subtropical storm almost looks like a leaf cloud, must be one of the phases.
