40-40-40 has been broken in NYC!
      Sat Mar 12 2005 08:28 AM

I now have confirmed reports over 1.5 inches of snow, which puts NYC over 40 inches for the third year in a row. This is record breaking, here on Long Island we have had over 60 inches of snow with a possible late week snow storm, and this is one of the snowiest winter's for us. This has never before happened in NYC.
