Well..here's a weather update from Central Florida. I went to pick up my kids, and we just had a feeder band come through (at least that's what they're calling it on the local wx stations) that dropped at LEAST 1" of rain here. The trees were bending over quite a bit with the winds blowing so hard and the lightning was pretty intense. Also noticed that the rain was sideways, then blowing s/n, then back to n/s. The temperature in my car dropped from 97 to 69 in about 15 minutes time. I've driven through a lot of storms here, and I've never seen it drop THAT much. If this is an indication of things to come, I'm not looking forward to it. Not that anyone else is, either.
