Sarasota gets 1st T-storm from Wilma
      Fri Oct 21 2005 07:06 PM

At approximately 1730hrs Sarasota got its first rain in weeks from an isolated outer band of Wilma. The rain was welcomed and we haven't heard thunder hear for quite sometime. It's been one of dryest Septembers recorded. I can't believe I'm thinking about buying a chainsaw this late in the season. I thought we were done! I'm waiting for Hurricane Alpha now. Why not?
