i feel a need to say something on this subject. i posted a little while ago mainly asking if others agreed with me that more attention shoud be paid to what a storm has been doing as opposed to what is forcast by n. h .c. now i read that some are trying to second guess the n h c forcasts. i do not beleave that any of us here are responceable for the lives of millons of people. i beleave you must allways err on the side of caution when in such a poistion. i have been keeping track of hurricanes and forcast of hurricanes for half a century. thru the years goverment predictions have been very much on track, very much. major boo boo's are rare, so they seem to be highlited. i will allways back the pro's because they are just that, pro's.
