I am curious. Has anybody done any verification of Bastardi's theories and accuracy re: his efforts to predict land fall probabilities this early in the season...His oficial report is not out yet, but the NYT papergroups featured an article in which his predictions for 2007 for areas most likely to encounter land falling systems were reported as the Gulf Coast to SE Atlantic coast. (Texas to low country SC). My recall is that last year he was big on the midatlantic and NE... and the year before the Gulf coast again...seems as if he is in the ballpark?
