As of now we have the first Hurricane of the season, NHC upgraded Dean with a preasure of 987mbar. In the IR and WV satelite image one can see what appearst to be an eye that is forming, convetion looks impressive.
I would thing he'd be slowing down now but that doesn't seem to be the case. They put the velocity at 24mph, quite fast I'd say...
Also I found some nice readings from Bouy 41040 It is a bit north of the center.
