Here is and update on the 26/N/76W NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 200 PM EDT FRI JUN 6 2008
FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...
1. A WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE IS APPROACHING THE WINDWARD ISLANDS. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE FORECAST TO REMAIN UNFAVORABLE FOR TROPICAL CYCLONE DEVELOPMENT. HOWEVER...THIS SYSTEM COULD PRODUCE SHOWERS...THUNDERSTORMS AND GUSTY WINDS OVER PORTIONS OF THE WINDWARD ISLANDS LATER TODAY AND ON SATURDAY.

and the ULL is still churning away. It looks like it is getting sqished between the High in the Atlantic, and the Tropical Wave approaching.
