At 09/03Z, Tropical Storm Emilia was located in the Eastern Pacific about 1,265 miles south of Baja, California, moving to the west northwest at 12 knots. Emilia should become a hurricane later on Monday and a major hurricane by midweek before weakening toward the end of the week. The west northwest movement should continue all week.
