According to one source a MCV is affecting west central Florida today as I write. Very interesting radar signature, with characteristics of circulation and certainly rapidly developing strong T Storms.
Another feature is in the central gulf about 200 miles west of this one..
I started to write earlier today that such a feature could lead to an early development out of the GOM in May this year, what with the wild contrasts in air masses now over the CONUS.
