With an intermittent eye feature and satellite intensity estimates, Ingrid is upgraded to a Cat I Hurricane moving north at 6kts and located about 275 miles southeast of La Pesca, Mexico at 14/21Z. As a ridge builds to the north of Ingrid the hurricane should make an eventual turn to the west on Sunday. Central pressure is now down to 987MB. New Watches/Warnings are as follows:

A HURRICANE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR...
* CABO ROJO TO LA PESCA

A HURRICANE WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR...
* NORTH OF LA PESCA TO BAHIA ALGODONES

A TROPICAL STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR...
* NORTH OF LA PESCA TO RIO SAN FERNANDO
* SOUTH OF CABO ROJO TO TUXPAN
