Area of Interest - TD #11 in the Central Atlantic

At 28/04Z, Invest 96L was located in the central Atlantic near 22N 50.5W with winds of 30 knots and a central pressure of 1011MB. Movement was to the Northwest to North Northwest at 23kts. Strong westerly windshear to the north of the system is expected to weaken somewhat (but not much). SSTs are 29C. Some additional development is possible as the system slows its northward progress. Some models suggest at least a partial anticyclonic loop in a few days as a modest anticyclone builds to the north of the system. ED
(Title changed to reflect current system status.)
