Extratropical Arthur Moving North and Fading Fast
      Sun Jul 06 2014 12:51 AM

Actually there was a south to north orientation of a portion of the jet stream just off the east coast that developed and captured the hurricane and accelerated it to the north - however, a discussion of that hurricane really belongs in the Hurricane History Forum.

Arthur became an extratropical storm at 05/12Z. It is now over Prince Edward Island, fading rapidly while still moving north. The system is expected to weaken and dissipate in a couple of days.
