.DISCUSSION...
The upper ridge over the region is expected to move south and
eastward With westerly flow aloft as the upper trough moves from
the Great Lakes today to New England by Friday allowing a weak
surface front to slowly move over the FL Peninsula tonight - Thu
with a chance of showers and a few thunderstorms, with the highest
rain chances over the central and southern interior during the
afternoon and early evening Thu.
The weak frontal boundary is expected to stall and wash out
across south Florida Friday with isolated afternoon/evening
showers and thunderstorms over mainly inland areas south of
Interstate 4 Friday and also some drier air spreading into N and
C FL through Saturday.
General ridging is expected to move back over the region Sunday
into early next week keeping warm conditions in place with a
gradual increase in moisture to combine with diurnal heating and
the sea breezes to produce a chance of mainly inland afternoon
and evening scattered PoPs.

Weak high pressure ridging continues across south Florida with
westerly flow over the Eastern Gulf today. A weak frontal
boundary will move through the waters Thursday and Thursday night
bringing a chance of showers and a few thunderstorms. Another area
of weak high pressure will build into the waters late in the week
through the weekend with generally slight seas and light winds
returning.

Weak high pressure over the region will keep dry and hot
conditions in place with westerly winds today. A weak frontal
boundary sags through the area Wednesday into late week bringing a
chance of showers and possible storms into the weekend.
