* Until 930 AM EDT/830 AM CDT/.
* At 810 AM EDT/710 AM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along
a line extending from 7 miles west of Crawfordville to 12 miles
south of Port St. Joe, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Carrabelle, Eastpoint, Apalachicola, Crawfordville, St George
Island, Port St. Joe, White City, Franklin, Sopchoppy, Royal Bluff,
St George Island St Pk, Cape San Blas, Beverly, Panacea, Poplar
Camp, Medart, Simmons Bayou, Liveoak Island, Curtis Mill, and Fort
Gadsden.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 PM EDT/100 PM CDT/ for
Big Bend and the Panhandle of Florida.
