  Southern Lanier County in south central Georgia...
  Lowndes County in south central Georgia...

* Until 1130 AM EDT.

* At 1029 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of
  I-75 At Exit 16, or 7 miles west of Lake Park, moving northeast at
  40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lake Park, Valdosta, I-75 At Exit 16, Moody Air Force Base,
  Remerton, Dasher, Naylor, Twin Lakes, Greenwood, Valdosta Regional
  Airport, Kinderlou, I-75 At Exit 5, Clyattville, I-75 At Exit 11,
  and Stockton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
