400 PM CDT THU SEP 23 2004

...THE FLOOD WATCH FOR FLASH FLOODING HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR
   SECTIONS OF SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA AND SOUTH MISSISSIPPI...

THE THREAT FOR HEAVY RAIN HAS DIMINISHED ACROSS THE WATCH AREA. THE
HEAVIER BANDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE REMAINED OFF COAST.
A FEW LIGHTER BANDS ARE EXPECTED THIS EVENING. HOWEVER...FLOODING
RAINS ARE NOT EXPECTED TONIGHT.
