looking for a prediction graph
      #84611 - Mon Sep 08 2008 01:57 PM

hello, this is probably easy for you, but I couldn't find it:

just a graph (no video) with the actual path taken by Ike and the 120-hours
forecasted path as given by the National Hurricane Center

or alternatively the data in computer-readable form, so I can draw my own graph

Try http://weather.unisys.com/hurricane/atlantic/2008/IKE/track.gif for Ike. Replace the year and storm name for other storms as desired, or access from the main page at http://weather.unisys.com/hurricane/atlantic/

they have the historical track and the actual forecasts but no historical forecasts

I found this:
http://skeetobiteweather.com/discohistory.asp?stormid=AL092008

they have 32 pictures of the momentary forecasts for 8 time intervals

I want 1 picture with 8 (or fewer) curves containing those 32 datapoints,
so to see how good the predictions were
